Shoe Repair- Help Your Shoes Look Brand New Everyday

Shoe repair has been around for many years, even decades. The first cobbler’s saw shoes in much need of repair and devised a way to accomplish this without charging a high price. Cobblers were able to take old worn out shoes and apply new soles and heels. The threads were re-waxed to prevent further deterioration.

In past years especially in the years following the Great Depression, people needed to save old shoes because there was no money for new shoes. Hand me down shoes to siblings also provide cobbler’s with a great deal of work as well. Shoe repair involves making an old shoe look almost new and revitalized.
