- Airport Friendly Shoes- These shoes have no metal
anywhere and allows you to pass through a metal detector.
- Ankle Wrap- A shoe or sandal that has a strap that
wraps around the ankle and either buckles or ties
for a stylish look.
- Bootie- This is type of low cut boot also called
a shoe-boot.
- Crepe Sole- Rough texture resembling crepe paper
used for soles of shoes to provide non-slip grip.
- Distressed Leather- Leather that is treated or
scratched for a different look.
- Foot bed- The area where the foot rests in the
shoe.
- Gore Tex- Lining that is lightweight and waterproof.
- Jelly Shoe- A shoe that resembles a transparent,
rubber material.
- Kitten Heel- This type of heel sets forward.
- Pumps- Dress shoes for women.
- Snip toe- A tapered toe shoe with a square front.
- Slouched- Usually applies to a boot with a soft
baggy look in the shaft.
- Supination- When the foot rolls in an outward motion
to the side when walking or running.
- Vamp- Center upper part of the shoe in the front.
- Stacked heel- Heels with a layer look, because
of the natural layers or made to look that way.
- Quarter Panel- Sides of a shoe.

Shoes today have the same names and match them with

six inches.
